Headhunters are the other name used to refer to the executive recruitment companies. These are companies that are hiring for the special mandate of recruiting experienced and qualified candidates for the various vacancies in companies and organizations. These firms are preferred by many companies because of the many advantages attached to their services like avoiding extra expenses and for the purposes of saving on time and energy. In addition, the increased chances of picking an inappropriate candidate for a vacant position in a company through its human resource management are reduced.
These firms conduct their services by performing various detailed interviews to selected candidates in variable settings or on different subjects so as to be sure of a candidate’s ability to serve when chosen. There are two types of executive recruitment firms; the first type is referred to as the retained recruitment firms. These are based on the working conditions that they are paid as they continue through the recruitment procedure. The other type of recruitment firm is the contingency executive recruitment firms which as for payment only in the event that they are successful in the entire recruitment process. This may sound the best alternative but it doesn’t provide the right driving force money for better results as compared to the retained recruitment firms. The retained recruitment firms provide the best services because; they have enough resources in the form of money to go through the recruitment process. Money also acts as a motivational force for the recruiting staff to do an excellent job. In addition, with the recruitment firms, you are also guaranteed of a refund in the event that the recruitment firm does not deliver the best results or in the event that the candidate they are working on drops out in the middle of the recruitment process.
